Gaza,(Alresalah.ps)--Spokesman for the Islamic Resistance Movement of Hamas Fawzi Barhoum rejected statements made by US President Donald Trump that Hamas is a terrorist movement.
Commenting on Trump's accusations, Barhoum said in a press statement on Sunday evening that "the statements of the US President on Hamas and accusation of terrorism are unacceptable and distort the reputation of the resistance

of our people. "
Barhoum confirmed that Trump's statements are fully biased to the Israeli occupation, noting that Hamas is a national liberation movement and it legitimately defends rights of the Palestinian people under Israeli occupation.
He added that the pure terrorism is the Zionist entity that practices mass murder against Palestinian people and commits crimes against humanity through imposing siege on the Gaza Strip with an American official support and cover.
The US President Donald Trump said during an American Islamic summit held in the Saudi capital Riyadh that the organization of ISIS, Hezbollah, al-Qaeda and Hamas represent different forms of terrorism.
