Israeli occupation authorities this morning released Palestinian Member of Parliament Mohammed Abu Tair who has spent 17 months Ktzi'ot Prison in the Negev, Safa news agency reported.
Abu Tair, who is a member of the Hamas bloc in the Palestinian parliament for Jerusalem, was arrested on 28 January 2016.
He remained in prison for 11 months without a trial. Then, the Israeli military court Ofer sentenced him to 17 months in prison.
Israeli occupation authorities revoked his Jerusalem ID in October 2010 and expelled him to the occupied West Bank.
He and two other with Hamas MPs, Ahmed Attoun and Mohammed Totah, were accused of not being loyal to the State of Israel.
Abu-Tair has spent half of his life in jail, spending a total of 32 years moving from one prison to another and had been released on five months prior to being rearrested and detained.
